BMW X5 4.4i
| | Model of the car: | BMW X5 4.4i | | | General comments: | This vehicle is fantastic for people who want an SUV that drives like a car. The AWD system is excellent, although the OEM tires are not well suited for winter. With a good set of snow tires this SUV would be unstoppable in the white stuff. The price is somewhat high, but you get what you pay for. This BMW sets the standard by which all others are measured. | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | Steering too heavy for most customers. Air suspension in rear causes harsh ride, especially for back passengers. Traction control system is somewhat noisy. | | | Previous car: | Lexus RX300, Acura MDX, Audi allroad, Ford Escape, Mercedes ML320. Recently magazines have been gushing over the MDX, but despite it's good interior packaging it has terrible driving dynamics and off-road capability. |
