| | Model of the car: | X5 4.0 | | | General comments: | The X5 is one of my favorite rides of all time. More people comment about this car than any Corvette, etc. I have owned. I love the way it handles, accelerates, and looks, and sounds. It is a great combination of luxury, performance, and utility. Decision to buy was based on need(3 son's sporting events) and yet desire to not give up my sports car. Comparison shopped Range Rover, Acura, Mercedes, Cadillac, Lexus, etc.(Acura came in 2nd). | | | What things have gone wrong with the car: | It's a BMW...with BMW Service. Recall for new fan took two months to get parts. Front door handles "peeled" after 1 month...took three months to get...being replaced today. Dealership Service Client Sat concerns falls after they get your initial survey done. Calls to BMW USA are worthless and insultingly arrogant.
