| | Model of the car: | BMW X5 X5 | | | General comments: | We were taken on test drives on smooth streets. On rougher streets the car shakes like an old truck.
On the freeway the wheelbase is equal to little bit more than the spacing on the cocrete slabs so get the rocking effect.
I have injured my neck driving this and I feel I must get rid of the car to save my body.
I brought the car in with complaints about the vibration in car from the AC compressor. Stock answer "they are all that way"
When I complained about the week AM reception I was told the speakers were bad.
When I brought it back for the speaker change I was told it was the radio.
3rd visit to get the radio exchanged. I feel that BMW is dancing around with all these problems and they are trying to wear me down.
Another problem only with tall people is the front door tops will hit you in the head if you don't stand back.
One last problem: The tires were delivered with 40 psi and ride was really bad. I let the air to the required 32PSI and the ride improved a little but the dealer warned me that the tires will wear out much faster at the factory recommended pressure.
All in all the car sucks.
